Emergency Department – Mental Health Upgrade
Patients struggling with mental health conditions need a patient-centred, calming environment that reduces light, noise and visual stimuli in the Emergency Department (ED). Such an environment will ensure that ED staff are able to provide appropriate diagnosis, care and referrals to patients experience mental health crisis. With your help, Richmond Hospital seeks to create a segregated space in the current ED aimed at providing the right care at the right time for mental health patients.

The Vancouver Directors Alliance is the sole advocate of this campaign. All funds will be directly donated to Richmond Hospital Foundation, and donors will immediately receive an electronic receipt from the Foundation.
